AMAZING It has taken 20 years for this to happen...

Grand little bears, although I hear they can be somewhat less than fair tempered. But good luck, good pix, and enjoy the visitation!

Ah, sorry for the confusion. I meant: you live in Woy Woy... I used to live in Killcare, which is nearby. Or at least, it seems so from where I am now, over 16,000 kms away, where the nearest Koala is shivering in some wretched European zoo!

await the second coming of Spike....(it will happen...)

Excellent shots, Billy. What a beautiful animal! I am so glad to see you got such sharp and detailed shots with the 50. I didn't know you had one. I am always so jealous of the IQ you get with your L1. Hope he stays around for a while.
Regards,
Daniel

Wow. I would not have guessed that in 100 years. I would assume you ran into them quite often. I am glad they came to visit you. Nice captures.

Not another bloody koala bear thread!!

Mother arrived back today..she died 17yrs ago today!!

If the bear tidies up all the fallen leaves and bark I will know it is her...she was a splendid example of German Housefrau !!!

I love mothers every son should have one at least once. One of my favourite mothers was Maggie, an Australian lady by sheer coincidence. Had a lovely son Arthur and a rotten son who she adored, called Robbie.
