Let us see the towns you live in.....

Y,

What a wonderful idea for a post. I mostly wanted you to know that I enjoyed reading your blog and the photos you've made available there. I haven't yet read through the others who have posted, nor have I have posted photos from my home town (Tacoma, WA), but look forward to doing both as I am able. I'm still sorting through a block of photos from Xmas and the kid's school events (pageant, etc.), all taken with the 5dII and have a panting computer from all the processing requirements.

Geeze. I knew better, but I did it anyway .......... my first outing with the new camera was to cover a school event, the results of which I use to create each year a book that is offered as a fund raising item for the school fund.

It's not as if I didn't know better ......... and it all came out fine ......... but I was a lot less comfortable under pressure with a new body than the ones I've been using for the past several years. I think it'll take me at least 6 months to get my arms around this new beast.

Anyway .......... great question. Good post. I look forward to posting to it as I am able (hmmm........ on which hard drive do I have the best photos of Western Washington? :).

Look forward to seeing you pix here and thank you for reading my blog, at least I know it is not written in waste and someone actually reads it.
Thank you again!
Yuriy,

This evening there was no moon but there was delightful color in the sky. Hope you like it.
Time are tough here shooting in shorts and a t-shirt.

A tilted view of Notre Dame that I took one night during a quick session that I did for DPR when Canon unveiled the 1DsIII shots showing that very cathedral with a sample not so good. Oh my God !! Canon samples are average ?? Naaaaaaaaaaaa...
