Views from the top of the Tower... KL Tower, that is!

Nice view from up there. This is significant to me for I might be spending a couple of months in KL, probably from September-October.

How about some more shots of the locale?

Gilbert

Nice. Nice conditions.

I've been up the tower twice with a film camera and on both occasions
the lighting was nothing like as good as this.

Thanks, Nice pic's!

I was so inspired by your previous night pictures from K.L. (i still have them as background on my PC) that i actually went & bought a F707!

After living in KL for six years i now have moved back to Sweden. I already miss the daily sight of the towers from my bedroom window. KL by night is beautiful!

Keep posting pictures of KL !

Micael

Thanks. I have to confess the conditions that day weren't ideal either. I had to tweak the levels a bit to get a better color range and less smudgy look.

There's a horrible light smog that's blanketing the Klang Valley where KL is located. It's more or less permanent because of the millions of people cramped into this valley driving, biking, bussing, commuting...

Hopefully the city rail system being built will alleviate the condition.

Tacka, Mike!

What were you doing in KL for 6 years? Did you work for IKEA? ;-)

Shalom Yehuda,

Dank, mein hawer! I did get butterflies in my stomach sometimes, particulalry since the windows jut out a bit over the edge of the floor!

Hope your grandson is recovering well, and not forgetting the parents and grandfather too!

Here are some relatively untweaked night time shots. (I've removed
the worst of the barrel distortion from the wide angle and cropped
but not done much else).

Wishful thinking I suspect! The city seems to be growing too fast and
the rail system isn't pervasive enough.

Well, there something to think about. The next time you jump out a plane, bring the F707 with you! :-D

Yes, I am from KL. There's only one place I am going to at the moment for digital prints, mostly because their prices seem good enough (I'm sure they're not the cheapest though) and their prints are good.

Try Fotokem in Sungei Wang Plaza. They print for RM1 per 4R. If you buy a camera from them, you are entitled to their membership scheme which gives you a 20% discount.

In 1975 I did it: I rigged a 35mm camera to my helmet, and took a whole film of 36 exposures. They all came out great.

In my case that saying is true for sure.

Give me 3 days and I will know better.
