Pete Souza has just been picked to be the official Presidential photographer for President Obama. Pete says he will be using his Canon 5D, 5DII, and will be using an M8.2. Take the time to go to his website and see his images, they will bring tears to your eyes. Yes, he's that great.

I wonder if he will get a Leica S2 when it's released? I bet he will........

Thanks, for the links; and, I just created a Bookmark Folder for them on my Mac computer, where all Obama/White House/Presidential Photography/Video Clips will go during the coming Administration.

Pete Souza has changed my life. Every time he clicks the shutter hes recording the history of our country. What an incredible job. I would give anything to meet him.

I think for the next 8 years, we will always see him walking backwards just ahead of Pres Obama, just like Eric Drapper with Pres Bush, or Aturo Mari with Pope John Paul II.

I went to the website and was in awe of Souza pictures. Imagine the lucky students who have had him as their teacher.

What would Souza photographic team consist of? Assuming Souza can't cover all angles at once, will their be other photographers working on his photographic team taking pictures?

Thank you for that link. I was not aware of him till now and his photographs are quite a revelation.
