LX3 In / Near Vancouver, BC?

Got myself a G10 but will probably take it back as I really am wanting an LX3... thing is I don't want to do that until I get my greasy paws on one to play with it a bit! Anyone know where to get one around Vancouver? London Drugs says 2 weeks or so till it's in the warehouse, and another couple of days after that. Various other stores say anything from end of January to a couple of months.

I even looked a bit around Bellingham and it seems that Circuit City has the silver in stock (or at least, available for order off the website). I had ordering online from Amazon (which I'd rather not do with electronics) as my last ditch place, and was almost ready to just say "screw it" and pull the trigger on one sight unseen tonight, but they won't ship to Canada!!!

Anyone have any idea where to find one? Or am I in the same boat as everyone else and waiting on Panasonic's fulfillment department Or is there some other magic online or local store where I can find one.

Kerrisdale Cameras and Lens & Shutter both show it on their web sites. It's probably worth phoning to ask if they have it in their stores yet.

L&S was the one that told me a couple of months earlier today but I will give Kerisdale a shout tomorrow.... worth a shot anyway :\

Edit - Looks like the lx3 on KC site has out of stock hidden at the bottom. Bah.

Friend of mine reminded me of B&H, who claim they have stock on the website, so I pulled the trigger on it. With 2 day shipping at the current exchange rate the price is the same as that from the local london drugs, so the only downside is it would be a pain for returns / warranty / etc. Still, glad I found it, and I hope their website isn't lying.

For anyone else interested, I hear that ritz camera and ritz west in seattle have stock as well.

Looking forward to finally getting my hands on this baby!
