18mm, f/2.8, ISO6400, 25 sec.

People going to lunch



24mm, f/4, ISO6400, 10 sec.



14mm, f/2.8, ISO6400, 30 sec.

It sure is quite dark here during the winter, no wonder people get depressed. I bet the D3x would not have made a better job on these

:-)
 
The D3 is amazing. The shots are so clean at ISO6400.

Here for comparison one of my shots with the D200 from Helsinki on Christmas Day early afternoon. Nikkor 12-24, f/4, 60s at ISO 800. I rarely use higher ISO because of the noise;

Geez, have some regard for the eyes of the viewers. Ya gotta tone down those exposures with some ND filters. ;-)

Did you use in-camera sharpening or did you sharpen in PP.
Also would you kindly share your B&W technique :-)

Oh I get it. You were shooting at night, in the cave, at the black men loading black charcoal.
 
Yes it is dark now. But during the summer...light night and day!!

But they may have a 30x40 print competition coming up so you may want to wait for that one--They are so sweet!
PS -Please share your your technique and was a photoshop plug in used?
