Sisters...

What kind of light did you have there? Beautiful expressions!

Thanks Ed!

Two lights... both Quantum T5D-R's... the front light was with the Quantum Softbox off camera right... the 2nd was behind the subjects left above pointed down with a "home-made snoot" out of black construction paper for a hairlight. (when you have kids you have a lot of that stuff layin' around:)

Also had an ample dose of ambient light coming in left from the front bay window... hence the 1/15 shutter speed to let that light in. Turned the X-mas tree lights on also for a little background specular hightlight.

Hope this helped!

I caught the girls after church today all dressed up and took the
opportunity to take a shot.

A900 + cz 24-70 zoom.

Capture 4 does seem to push the shin tones red... but I think it
works here.:)

A very nice image Albert. Any technical flaws that might exist, as will occasionally happen, add to the effect rather than detract.

I see that you have one of the problems I have had for many years. I have five daughters and almost inevitably when photographing more than one of them, there would be one "Reluctant Princess" in the frame.

A nice image, gorgeous kids - you can be justifiably proud.

Regards

Jeff

Hoy cow... 5!!!

That alone must have led cause for you to imbibe unusually on more than a few occassions:)

Yes.. that's my "Ella". She will be our "handful" for sure:) But you know it's really hard for me to be stern for too long:)

Thank you Jeff!
