I haven't seen a snake in years, other than at a zoo. Well, at least one with scales.......

I liked all of your shots, but the last one is very good, IMO.

Just fascinated by snakes, but don't think I would want to be within
barge pole distance, it is not the fear of lions that would stop me
walking the savannas, but snakes... and scorpions...

I've been fascinated with them since I was a kid, and still today.

Occasionaly, one follows me home. Luckily I have a very understanding and supportive wife! lol

No, for some reason I didn't use any flash at all. Ambient light seemed OK so I didn't even think about it. I need to experiment with it more.
Nice natrix shots, especially like the close up of the eye!
I enjoyed your gallery too, very nice!
