My S100fs - Tem Duan ...

Do you think it's too noisy? I ran a noise reduction on it, and it made it all blurry.

Also, this was shot (amazingly enough) in Aperture Mode. It's the first time I haven't used Shutter Mode for night shots. It was cold; I was rushing.

Thank you, Dave.

... Mine was shot full DZ and I reduced noise slightly. I then used
USM at (about) 30,30 to give it contrast and sharpness.

Can't remember exactly, it was very late here.
I would recommend that you shoot moon images without DZ. Although the S100fs has probably the best DZ available, letting the camera do the cropping is effectively magnifying any noise and aberrations before you can intervene. Much better to do that task in photoshop and preserve all the detail you get.

Would you consider posting the original? Or emailing it to me (email is in my profile.) I got a nice version created from yours, but was unable to get rid of all the jpeg artifacts ... they ended up spoiling it.

Fantastic photo. And shows a lot of colour too.

I do remember seeing a composite like that before. Just can't remember where. Thanks for the link too.

Thank you so much, Kim! I have much to learn and appeciate all the
help you've given me.
I noticed that heavy noise reduction pulled color detail out quite well ... so I thought I'd try Topaz on one of my images. Denoise did not work because there isn't much noise at 400 ISO ... but Topaz Adjust has a "mild color pop" preset that I thought might be interesting. And I think it was ...
