that many lenses to pick from. But that lens was mounted on my D50 probably 90% (+) of the time. The 18-55 maybe 9% of the time and the 50f/1.8 1% of the time.
Now that I have the the 18-105VR the 70-300 isn't on the camera as much, maybe only 80% of the time.
Went to the coast a couple of weeks ago to shoot the sunset and started with the 18-105 but soon switched to the 70-300 -- there is just something I really like about that lens and it is large enough to get a good grip on.
D@mn the cold, we want to see some pictures. That is easy for me to say, even though we have a storm coming in and there is the possibility of some rain starting tomorrow and running through next Wednesday, the temperature is 68-degrees, might make it to 70 ;
)
A Hummer makes his way through a maze of Christmas lights for a sip or two. This was a difficult shot, the camera wanted to focus on everything but the Hummer, have about twenty of these that would have been better but the Hummer is soft and one string of lights is really sharp.
The lights don't seem to bother the birds
