Nothing more, nothing less. It's one of my favorite pictures I took this vacation, but I know it's far from being the perfect picture. Three of us went out with cameras, and the other two just walked right on by the feather, but I couldn't resist.

Heidi -

I love your feather. As a matter of fact I did the same thing (twice, actually) this past week - took pictures of a lone feather. Great minds think alike!

I really liked the sand background.

Don't know if I count in the great minds club, but I just took this over the weekend as well.

I "posed" mine, is that considered cheating? lol

I've always believed that the challenge of a photographer is to take something that is commonplace and applying some creativity to turn it into something that deserves a second look....(This is my 3rd time viewing your shot)

I'm sure we miss a lot. Sometimes I feel like I view the world like a true photographer (I don't kid myself that I'll ever be one, to me photography is about capturing memories, about poetry without words), but sometimes, I can see the world and notice little tiny details and think, this would be a great picture!

Of course, the most frustrating thing is when you see the perfect picture and you don't have a camera...
Heidi Foster,

Very pretty still life, arranged by Mother Nature for you to
capture. I like it! Ever wonder how many great photo
opportunities we walk right past?

I love your work and your artistic view of the world...

This is a good concept, I just do not think the gravel rocks help much...now on a lava sand beach...you know the kind...with dark glassy beads that change to grey or white...and one lone feather on it....

mmmmmmmmmm...I can feel it!!

Good eye...keep it up..in fact I miss your posts...post more..now!! LOL
