The best to you!
Hello Ulysses:
After a multitude of desk tops ... I broke down a year ago and
bought a high end notebook and setup a docking station via a great
oak desk that completely closes up. Connected I have a Maxtor 80G
external firewire drive (for digital video editing and photo
storage), a Sony external firewire burner, a HP PhotoSmart printer,
a HP 7400c scanner. All accessories are daisy chained including
the firewire for the digital camera.
Why do I like it? It's completely portable. On trips I take my
Sony 707, my Sony TRV 900, and my notebook (no worries about memory
stick size here). It does everything my desktop does and more.
For me, I will never buy another desktop computer.
--PS: My notebook was assembled by Gateway, has a 15.7" screen, and
came with a 3 year warranty.

I use Sony Viao PCG-XG29K. Does not have a network card built-in nor a memory stick reader. The other issue is the lack of some commonly used ports - parallel and serial for instance. These are the don't likes. Works well with the port replicator however, that has these.Show me your notebook, and tell me why you do/don't like it!

Should I put up pictures?
