I am looking for the smallest bag to wear on my belt for the original camera configuration only. Small size is the key factor. No lenses or batteries.

I have the same bag (with rainkit) for a G2. I like the bag very much and it can be easily attached on my bigger Lowepro backpack if go for a larger trips.I carry my G1 everywhere in the Lowepro D-Res 20AW. I've fitted a
G2 into it and that went just as well. There's even room for 2 or 3
CF cards and your remote.
D-Res 25AW is better; since he said "smallest belt bag"...Looking at the dimensions of camera and bag, the Lowepro Dres 20 AW
would appear to not be wide enough by 1", Presumably it stretches,
but isn't it then a very tight fit? Would I be better with a DRes
25 or is that slightly too big? I'd rather have a bit of space for
a few accessories, as long as the camera is a snug fit and doesn't
slop around. Any 25 owners able to advise on that?

Mine is the AF Plus.

swerve,
I purchased this one for my JVC digicam, but when I exchanged it
for the G2 I thought I would at least try it. It holds the cam fine
and has a front pouch for CF and remote. It has a nice adjustable
shoulder strap and arrangable belt strap(not just a cheap fall off
or get stolen clip).
I will send you a pic if you would like.....John
Could you post a photo of this item? Also, do you have a model
number?
Thanks,
Swerve

I have the same bag (with rainkit) for a G2. I like the bag veryI carry my G1 everywhere in the Lowepro D-Res 20AW. I've fitted a
G2 into it and that went just as well. There's even room for 2 or 3
CF cards and your remote.
much and it can be easily attached on my bigger Lowepro backpack if
go for a larger trips.
It's waterproof and it can handle big bumps. I usually take my G2
with me while biking and so far, my G2 (with microdrive) is still
working fine with no cracks so I definitely can recommend Lowepro
bags...

Gonna check the shop soon, it should indeed come with a shoulder
strap...
