I have a Lexar 1GB x 16 card. Is anyone using the CameraMate and can it read the Lexar cards.

Hi,I have a Lexar 1GB x 16 card. Is anyone using the CameraMate and
can it read the Lexar cards.
I have Lexar 12x 128 and 256 and a IBM MD and they work great with the CameraMate FW Reader.

I've had nothing but trouble with the CameraMate firewire reader. Two different CameraMates, two different firewire cards (PC) and two different IBM 1Gb Microdrives = does not work. The fw CameraMate does work with solid state cards.I have a Lexar 1GB x 16 card. Is anyone using the CameraMate and

Just a side note, IMHO Microtech support is absolutely worthless. Phone them and unless the problem is printed somewhere for the support person to read they are clueless and sending in an on-line problem report results in simply no reply..

If you are into getting a new unit, why not get Lexar firewire reader? It works fine and is only about $50 in B&H.
