This is the smallest digital camera I've seen and really cool looking, I'm surprised it hasn't made the front page of DPreview.

In the UK the cost will be around £299.00 for the S1, I think that is great for a camera of that size and I think it sounds really cool. It has a 4x digital zoom and movie mode.

I was watching for it on the Casio website, but I guess
I missed the nano-second window between 'Coming Soon'
and 'Back-Ordered' -- which it is now.

I just bought one from their online website for $349 and they could not answer if it can be used as a web cam when just pluged in to the usb port on your computer!!! Does anybody out there know if it can be used this way...thanksThis camera is available now in Japan. It is the thinest by far -

It's under two megapixels. It has only digital zoom. There is a real limitation in terms of quality I think.

Go with the Minolta Dimage X. Two mp and a 3x optical zoom. I bought a small pocket camera without optical zoom and am very disappointed.
It's under two megapixels. It has only digital zoom. There is a
real limitation in terms of quality I think.

Where does Minolta "get off" on running that ad (homepage of dpreview) saying they have the smallest, thinnest digital camera? The Casio is much smaller.
