New firmware 1.10 problem with AUTO ISO

I'm getting crazy high speed shutter values and too high ISO selections in P and A modes with AUTO ISO set to 1/100 and max ISO of 3200. In P mode the camera should be choosing a 1/100 sec shutter speed and lower ISO value to keep noise down and instead is choosing 1/1250 @ f2.8 @ ISO 3200. Previously firmware versions would select a lower shutter speed in order to avoid unnecessarily boosted ISO.

How do I downgrade to earlier firmware versions?
 
Then, just limit your max ISO to 400 or 800 then.

are you sure your base ISO isn't set at 3200 gving AutoISO no room to work (except protect against overexposure)? Check to make sure your normal (minimum) ISO is set to 200. Sorry if you have already done that and it is an insulting question.
 
Check the Auto ISO settings in all shooting banks, they are wrong after the update (looks like the setting was stored in memory as "third value from the top" etc., meaning after the update added new shutter speeds to the selection, your saved presets point to wrong values).
 
Remember to have read in the supplied change list, that settings have to be redone, because they are incompatible with version 1.03.
 
From the installation Instructions:

Precautions

Immediately after the camera’s A and B firmware is updated to Ver. 1.10, the ISOsensitivity settings> ISO sensitivity autocontrol> Minimum shutter speed setting will shift to a faster shutter speed.
 
I managed to get it right the first time I updated firmware, a few months ago. Whew, I'm relieved...
