If you go for color, then you may often try to get them right, meaning to reflect how you see them in nature. The gras must be green and the skin must look like skin. Wow, this is not easy!
On the route to b/w I can forget about the natural look. You have all the freedom to play with the mapping of color into a grey tone. Then you simply concentrate on the message you want to convey. Is is a structure, a pattern or a smile? Is it the light or shadow? All up to you.
What is difficult at the same time? You got a million ways to do your b/w. When there are two ways to go in color, there are 20 in b/w!
Let's go for it! You have 24hours for this challenge!
