The new 9-18 lens is in stores here (Estonia), price is the same as 50 F2.0 macro.
 
I hear that forty came into the UK - London Camera Exchange on the Strand in have four. £499 - a bit stiff if you ask me.

I'm suprised not to see it yet with an estimated arrival date at B&H here in the US. Once it's there, I'll need to decide whether or not to continue on with plans for the 7-14. My initial thought is to still get the 7-14. Having already used it once, the 7-9mm range is not inconsequential and I already have 12-18mm covered with the 12-60.
