Blurred background

How do I get the background of my photos to have a blurred background without using a 200mm or 300mm lens?

Easy. Use a wide aperture, and get as close to your subject as possible.

A wide open aperture (f/2.8 or wider if you can) and a large sensor camera, plus a normal to slightly telephoto lens (50-135 range). Focus distance also comes into play, so frame tightly by moving with your feet.
