Canon Selphy ES1 problem

hello, a friend of mine has the Selphy ES1 printer, and while it prints without problem his pictures directly saved from the camera to the card and from the same card, the printer doesn't want to print anything that has passed through photoshop (in his case version 7). we tried different levels of jpeg compression, with huffman codes optimization and without, progressive and normal, and there's simply no difference. the printer's LCD shows question marks over images that have been worked on in photoshop, but prints them all on the same sheet if you choose this option, only single print option doesn't work. pretty weird.
has anyone of you encountered similar problem?
thanks in advance, Vlado

I shoot everything that moves.

Only time I've used the memorycard-printout feature, has been with camera-created jpegs, except one time with an export from Lightroom (that printed flawlessly).

But since you're exporting from Photoshop, why aren't you printing directly from photoshop instead?

Hi! I'm a .signature virus!
Copy me into your .signature to help me spread!

I guess because it was easier to copy it to the memory card and then stick that in the printer and print:D the printer is not connected to the PC in any way, that's why:)

nevermind, we'll try printing from photoshop directly tomorrow, thanks for your input! ;)

I have a Selphy printer, good for instant pics but I have the same problem. I can lighten, rotate, even put text into an image, and do most things with the images in picasa, or microsft photo editor (the two programmes I use mostl frequently) and they will be recognised by the Selphy and print out ok, but as soon as I crop an image then Put the CF card into the Selphy the image is not compatible I get the question mark sign. It does not matter if I manipulate the image on the hard drive or on the card any cropping renders the image incompatible. Is there a solution out there for this.
