Or maybe I should shut up and swich to nikon.
Would love it too, but Canon doesn't make pro zooms anymore, only the slow ones for amateurs.

I love my 24-70 non-IS on my 40D. Can't wait to see what it's like on a 5DII. But what I really want to see is the 5DII with the 85L. That's the lens I plan to get with the body. But for my needs the 24-70 that I've got is great. The wide end will be that much better on a FF body.
