This sounds more like the Photokina, this advertisement was in a mag last month, was it not?

yea it was in rangefinder magazine last month, but please don't make a connection between the name of the magazine and the camera that may or may not come out.

the same ad was in rangefinder magazine a month ago
probably they delayed the news with another month

this would match the rumor already present about a november announcement

The ad specifies WPPI in Feb 2009.
 
seems like nikon is trying to head slightly in a different direction than canon.
 
A friend of mine that has a friend inside B&H told me that they confirmed the mx mf format camera from Nikon and they gonna have a sample for display. Does anybody know anyone inside B&H?
