I keep seeing threads here with rejected photos. I've been wondering for quite some time how you even get to the stage of submitting your shots. I was looking into this at 5 AM this morning and got a bit frustrated at how little I managed to find out about this mysterious process.

Any information would be appreciated. Sorry if this has been covered before, or if I'm just really missing something. I tried searching and just found reject threads.
 
On the PPG site, click on 'Site Tools" at the upper right corner, then click on 'contact us'. You have to then send them a message asking to be included. They will email you a code, which, when received, you enter on the Artist pages site, which is:
http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artist

The follow the instructions to upload. They can be uploaded directly from your hard drive.

Remember that to be a member involves a commitment to vote on other submissions. This has been the subject of a long thread on this forum.

umm it comes down to voting. Often if people don't vote for it within a few weeks you'll get a no. the quicker the "no" is the more likely that people didn't like it much. Any longer and it may be past the voting and in queue for the PPG panel to decide on it.

Took just a day or so get a code. After submitting the photo it was close to 3 weeks til final judgement was passed. I have a 100% acceptance rate. That sounds better than saying they accepted my one and only submission.

I'm so glad I saw this post. I have a photo in the PPG, and I'm not sure how to vote for other photos. Do I have that privilege? Can anyone give me an easy how-to answer?

Thanks in advance. Been meaning to ask this one for a while!

On your artist page, when you sign in, or on any of the other pages, at the top right is "Vote on Photos" Click on this and have fun!
