Does the D300 still come with free Capture NX?

ps. I truly believe photography as a hobby is defined by the pleasure you get from the activity. It does not matter what equipment or results. I am a hobbyist and a very awful photographer (snapshooter is a better name) but a very happy one.
 
Mine just came with a Trial version. Haven't installed it yet (Version 2 has come out since, so the CD is useless). Just download the Trial Version of the newest.
 
I bought a new 300D about 5weeks ago and it had Capture NX packaged with it. Nikon says it you bought Cap,NX before December 08 you can have NX 11 for free. I imagine that means buying it as a separate entity but I am going to call and ask if it applies to one being packaged with a camera...

so if i want a capture nx2 - ill just buy the capture nx 1 and get the free upgrade to NX2 - tomake it cheaper right?
