Guess the price of the A900 Vgrip

it'll come with 2 batteries and the people who buy that could afford it without batting an eye

F717 (Legendary)
A700 (what a fantastic machine)
A200 (Almost as fantastic)

I think it should be priced as the A700's due to the fact that is the same thing but larger in order to accomodate a larger body.

However, since this is an item designed for a flagship camera exclusively, I think that pricing it like the C70AM will be wishful thinking. They are going to have to charge for it more since they got to keep up with the flagship status.

I mean, the C30AM is 250 USD at SonyStyle, C70AM at 350, my guess is that C90AM will be at a the 400-450 range.

Of course there is a huge difference between the grip for A200/300/350 and the grip for A700, but from the A700 to the A900 there is no difference except some milimeters.

I KNOW how it is priced because I just ordered it. It's priced identical to the A700's grip. So you don't have to guess anymore.

It's really easier.

The a900 grip is priced exactly the same as the a700 grip (in some countries) or roughly 50-70 $ more in some other.
And that's the end of the story.

Few millimeters, eh? This suggestion might sound really really stupid. But, would someone brave enough please try carefully and see if the VG-C70AM fit the A900. Just to be safe, remove the batteries on the grip. If it doesn't fit then, it doesn't fit. But, if it does, who cares if they aren't matching to a tee. As long as it works, right?

A700 VG does not fit. hole not same position. Also why do people complain so much about prices ? what do they think ? That sony is gonna sale the camera for 100 USD and the grip for 20 USD ?
If too expensive buy the a200 then !
