Thanks!Very nice series of pics...thanks for sharing!
Thanks Omar. A polarizer can help if the lighting and circumstances are right. It is a good investment.Beautiful photos I like it all. I took some shots of this area (San
Luis Obispo,Ca) at the local beach, but the weather didn't help. may
be a polarizer could help my shots.
Omar.
Hi Chang, good to hear from you again. That tree shot I took from the patio of a little restaurant where we stopped to eat.Albert, this is a great set of photos. As usual, my favorite will be
the last one which is the sunset. I also like very much the tree with
the sea as the background.

Thanks for your comments! Yes, I was hoping to catch a glimpse of Clint ;-), I'm a huge fan of his. I did see a street called Mal Paso Road there in Carmel. Mal Paso is the name of his production company. I can only imagine what his home looks like.Great series! You would almost think that you were in another
country. No wonder Clint Eastwood lives out that way.

Hi Muhammad. California is very nice, but I still think Colorado has my soul.Living in California is such a privilege. I enjoy every day of it.
Thanks a lot Albert. I feel honoured by your words, and very happy if I ever helped even just one person to enjoy photography as much as I doHi Alex, thank you for your comments. It was a great trip. I will
have to do it again soon. I owe a special thanks to you, as you have
greatly influenced my photography (the good points about it anyway
;-).
Hi Arthur, yeah, I goofed that comment. I thought you had brought that up earlier, but it was someone else... here's their comment and my reply. Sorry for messing you up like that... now I've wasted another 2min and 9 seconds of your lifeoooh i see them now...you posted that comment above this picture i
thought they would be in this shot.
lol, Oops - actually the cows are in #4! I guess I rearranged the pics but not - the text, duh!Beachfront cows? I quess I missed that. Did you get to the Hearst
Castle and Morro Bay? Great shots and great area.
Hey Mike, thanks for the comments! I definitely recommend driving this route and stopping often to explore. What's nice about this road is that you are able to stop and park almost anywhere along the side of the road and walk down to the shore/cliff. Sp parking is free and easily accessible. Not to mention all the charming little towns along the way.Hi Albert,
I keep talking about driving hwy1, but these are putting me over the
edge! I gotta get there.
You have a beautiful series. Most of these look like paintings.
Great composition! they would look great blown up and hanging on a
wall!
Thanks Fred! I really like #6 as welljust a great sense of the atmosphere in that one...
these are all tremendous....
thanks for posting....
I am super happy with my D40 and when I read all the reviews of the
new Nikons being released, I keep coming back to the idea that maybe
I would just like to have a few more mpx and wonder if I can still
find a D40x body....
cheers
Thank you Lynn, that last one is one of my top favorites of this series - along with a couple of the bridge shots and #6.I like all of them, as I tend to gravitate to nature/landscape shots
anyway.
But to me, the last one might be the more memorable one in this set.
To me, that is the type of picture that would probably be enlarged
and end up on the wall.
I have driven that rode in the past, even though I live in Texas.
The scenic view was stunning to me.
wow great colors.. can we have a few tips on what color mode and what you have done in pp ? Looks super nice.I'm finally catching up on some pictures. Here are a few pictures
from a drive down Hwy 1 along the central California Coast taken last
week - the full set is in my zenfolio gallery below. We caught
Pacific Coast Hwy near Monterey and continued down to Lompoc and
Santa Barbara, stopping along the way to explore.
