One of my first image posts so any obvious pieces of advice are very welcome
My girlfriend and I took a hike up to Loch Coire Lagan near Glen Brittle on the Isle of Skye, Scotland last week, and I of couse took my trusty a200 with a few lenses along with me. The weather changed rapidly, at the time of this photo it had just stopped raining and was about to start again, yet we had fantastic sunshine for the descent. Scottish summers for you!
Taken with the kits lens (I think - could have been tamron 55-200) at 60mm, ISO 100, f/5.6 and 1/640 sec
PP consisted of a slight boost in saturation and an ND grad filter in lightroom 2.0
It may not look it but I think there is around a 1500ft drop between the wee loch and the sea level seen in the background.
