Now I have to go get that macro lens! Beautiful, I especially like the first one, because of the very nice composition (in addition to the action ...)

Hi Klaus,

I think that you may be overdoing the sharpenning a bit on these. The colors and compositions are wonderful but they are a little bit hard to look at. I hope you are not upset by my candor and mean this as my own opinion and say it with the hope that you consider me friend enough to criticize your work. You can put me in my place if you think I am out of line.

Stan

I like your second macro.

I personally found that macros of "beautiful" insects like butterflies (or obvious: dragonflies, grasshoppers...) usually are very boring. Your second macro proving that deer fly could be more interesting subject for photography then any tropical butterfly.

Are you using tripod for your macros or hand held camera?

Hi Stan,

thanks for your reply!

Yes, I consider you friend enough and I don't want to hear positive replies only :-)

Criticism is very usefull to learn from others ... and I still have much to learn about photography!
You can put me in my place

... I really appreciate your comments!

I'm sorry that my replies are normally so short ... but it's not so easy for a non english speaking forum member to find always the right words.
