Browsing through the dpreview forum, I discovered the M$ Cash back site at:
http://search.live.com/cashback
Here are the results for the D300: http://search.live.com/cashback/products/offerings/18003/8763502
I still don't understand how the retailers make money -- advertising with Microsoft?
My concern is that JR.com is not explicitly listed as an Authorized dealer with Nikon. This link comes direct from the Nikon USA site:
http://www.nikonusa.com/fileuploads/pdfs/Authorized_Dealers/Nikon_AuthDealers.pdf
The only similar listings are:
J & R MUSIC WORLD
JR SHOOTING SPORTS
Resellerratings.com has them in the middle of the pack: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/J_R_Computers
But if it comes down to a warranty claim within the 1 year time frame, is the buyer covered?
