My wife and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a cruise-tour in Alaska. Aside from being chased for 1/2 mile by a moose on our anniversary, the trip was absolutely wonderful, and a perfect chance give my D60 a workout. The following is my favorite. Beautiful photograph! I saw your site too. Very nice!

I saw those were RAW shots. Did you convert non-linear or linear?

John

I saw those were RAW shots.
Of the 15 shots on the site, only 6 were RAW. The others were all shot at small/fine setting to conserve CF space (256 Mb). I shot most, that were destined for snapshots in the photo album at small/fine, and only those I thought might have more potential at RAW.

Stunning images of the last frontier. We were there 2 years this August and there is nothing like it. Wow a moose chased you for a 1/2 mile; you are very lucky you both were not hurt. Moose kill more people than bear! We were hiking and came across a moose. We hide behind trees and did not move as to alarm the moose. I did get a few good shots of it. Sure do wish I had my digital then.

I'm envious of you pic of Mt. McKinley. When we were there you didn't even know there was a mountain there from all the cloud cover. There is not many days of the year that you can see it.

Wonderful shots!

I'm starting to seriously wonder whether my bank manager can afford a D60. Now if he could stretch to a cruise to Alaska as well......

David... Wow! Magnificent Shot

We were in Denali National Park last year on September 11th. I don't have my D60 yet, but I took this shot of Mt McKinley on film. We were lucky to have a relatively clear day. This was shot from Stoney Point.

Too bad the resolution is nothing close to what the D60 would have done.

If you get around to posting any of the other pictures, let us know.

Princess Cruises. 7 days from Seward to Vancouver w/stops in Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan. It was much better than we ever hoped. I give them an A+ on the whole cruise and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

DWB
Beautiful - So what cruise line did you take? I assume you would
recommend them.
