wireless for 1000D?

I just bought a 1000d camera. I debated a long time between this camera and the Nikon d60. In the end, I went with the Canon because I can buy fast prime lenses for the Canon, whereas you can't for the Nikon (the D60 has no motor in the body); and because the Canon was the same price.

However, I now realize that the 1000d does not offer wireless. I would probably use wireless quite a bit, since I like to take group photos.

Does anyone know if you can get a third party wireless device for the 1000D? Every device I have looked is only compatible with cameras like the eos 40d, Mark II, etc., but not with the XS.

Yes, that is what I am looking for. That's a really good price (almost suspiciously so?). It costs only 22.50 in US dollars, but the shipping would be another 12 dollars. I'll keep an eye on that.

According to this link, version c6 is not compatible with the Canon XS. However, other sites indicate it is, and the jack in the picture really seems like it will fit into the side of the Canon.

You can find remotes, lens hoods and a variety of other useful camera gear at DealExtreme.

They're located in China/HK but I've ordered several times from the U.S. and had no issue with their service - but delivery can take a while ( ~~2 wks).~~
