Happy with 70-300mm IS!

Excellent images! I have this lens and have been very happy as well. Almost went with the 70-200 L but I'm glad I settled on the 70-300mm IS. I have many duck pics, but here's one of a 'wild' stray cat, taken in Atlantic City - dozens of them live under the boardwalk, and are fed by the locals, so they look quite healthy.
Taken with a 5D, this is at 300mm @f5.6.
Regards,
Kevin

I switched from the Sigma to this lens and have been very happy with it. A couple at 300mm:

Nice images...I just sold my 70-300 iS USM on ebay... I was hesitant, but I hope the 200 f/2.8 and 1.4x will please me indoors and outdoors.

I love animals images and park ones as welll.

Thanks. I'd love to have the 70-200 f/2.8 but it was a matter of economics. My brother has one and it's a beautiful piece of glass. Great purchase - have fun with it!

The 70-200 4is has a fluorite element. The 70-300 has UD. At least that is how it is advertised in the B&H source book.
