Nikon D700 + Tamon AF28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 XR Di VC(Model A20) = DX format???

With this lens i take photos in DX format ???

Assuming you mean this lens:

http://www.tamron.com/lenses/prod/28300_vc.asp

then I think the answer is no: You do you need to specify DX format on your D700 when you are using this lens. You can, but it's optional.

and works very well on a D700 and D3...

Sharp form 28mm until 200-230mm, amazing fast and accurate focus for a non-AFS lens and outstanding image stabilisation (VC)...

No, the Tamron 28-300 mm AF F 3.5-6.3 XR Di VC is FX Format.

I just received this lens today and works very good on the D700.

Here is a photo I took today with the Tamron 28-300 and D700 (300mm f6.3 1/320 200ISO)
