I readed the post about how boring zoo pictures can be, but I don't agree, I love animals and I love to take pictures from them and have no possibilty to capture them in the wild. I posted these series before in the samples and galleries forum and as far as I remember nobody there found them boring. So I was wondering on what the people on this forum are thinking about these pictures.

Please push the ARROW to go to the next image (3 series, a lot of images, you will best have a fast connection if you wish to see them all). Please mention if you find them boring.
I hope that most people will enjoy them maybe.

Excellent lazy shots Dirk! I don't know who's lazier, you for taking those lazy shots or me sitting here on my butt being lazy and looking at those lazy shots when I should be out taking my own lazy shots. I'm getting dizzy.

Great shots! Imblond is unbelievable. I don't think I would ever get tired of these pictures. Not even in ten years.

Best collections of shots of animals in the zoo that I can recall ever seeing. Wonderful use of light and composition to portray the animals without reference to the infrastructure of the zoo, except in those few instances were it was deliberatly built in as a key part of the image. Bravo!

Hi HG,

Thanks for appreciating my lazy shots (you are not so lazy as you did an effort to comment!). You can't believe how lazy I am, so so lazy that I went back to the Zoo last friday to see that lovely monkey again and so lazy that I post some new ones from him today in the Samples and galleries forum. Now I will need to rest 2 days from all these efforts. Thanks again for not being so lazy to respond to my lazy post.

With lazy greetings,
Dirk

Hi Willa,

I'm using the Fuji S1 now for about 2 years and uses my Nikon lenses with it. I'm impatient to buy the S2, I'm very satisfied with the S1.

Hi Garry,

Thanks for your very kind and great words, I really appreciate them, I love animals and I love taking pictures from them to look at if I have not the possibility to see them in real. I have many more and will continue my series when I can find the time.

With very kind regards,

Dirk

Hello, Dirk -

After viewing your zoo gallery once again, I still love your photos!

I had to go look at "Do you love me?" and I must admit, when I saw the answering photograph I said aloud "Oh, no!". The answer is so sad only because of your creative use of these photos and the dialogue you wrote.

Wonderful!!

Hi Judy,

Thanks very much for your kind appreciation. And you are right it's my imagination and the titles that made the picture sad, I could have make them less sad but I think that most monkeys in the Zoo feel sad, so...

Dirk,

These are among the best zoo photos I have seen on this forum -- or
anywhere else. Thanks for posting them.
Hi JH,

Thanks very much for your great and very kind words. I have a lot more and made also a few birdsseries (my view on). I'm very glad that you liked them that much.

With very kind regards,

Dirk
