I am interested in getting the Sony Memory Stick Case MSAC-A8 ..the one
with the nice metal casing..

Where can i get it cheap online???

BestBuy's have plenty in stock for $19.99.

MSAC-A8 is plastic.
MSACHGA8 is aluminum.

I haven't seen the aluminum case in stock anywhere.

You might want to check out B&H. They have the Sony brand as well as other brands that are cheaper.

Hakuba has a nice 8 stick Titanium case for $15 U.S. I've been using one for 4 months now, purchased from B&H.

They also have several other brands, models available. Put memory stick case in the search box at the top of the page listed above.
 
Picked up the metal Sony case (not the plastic one) from BestBuy when I was visiting the U*S from the UK last week. 20 dollars and holds 8 sticks or 4 sticks plus PC card (PCMCIA) adapter. Also comes with extra MS labels.

Oh yeah, also picked up a 707 for 770 dollars (open box, just the 16MB MS missing).

Must sell my 505V now!

The one I have is a fixed layout. Dunno if there are other models that are dual purpose. If you do a search on B&H for memory stick case, you'll find quite a few variations.
 
Yes, some cases have different inserts that allow one side to also be used for adapters. This still leaves room to own 5 mem sticks (one in camera). I browse B&H often, but some sites don't have complete descriptions.
