Verrazano-Narrows Bridge 10 shot pano

i like that you put some contrast back in, i actually brought the
walkway up with shadow and highlights tool. will put contrast back
in, it looks better to me. thank you and good catch.
Anthony, the difference between a good photograph and a great photograph is often in the little details that others ignore.

FWIW, the shadow/highlights tool is powerful but can very easily be used to excess. I use it often (when I'm not using the tone controls in Lightroom) and my general rule of thumb is to get it to the point where I think it looks good, then back it off a touch.

Overall a very nice job on this image and I'm looking forward to viewing your revision.

You need to calibrate your monitor or just look harder. The lower
left corner of the after image is much darker (and much more natural
looking) than the lower left of the before image.
You could be right. I am looking at this on my notebook and not my calibrated monitor at home.

We need more resolution to truly appreciate the details in a pano, I was ready to have to yank around the horiz. scroll bar and drool. How about it, repost a hirez one, please.

In the spirit of Occam’s Razor one should embrace the less complicated formulation or simply put, less is more.

will post something larger, once i revise the shot as suggested.
It'll probably be very interesting once the detail and horizontal resolution is there to scroll with. I'll be waiting :)
