*Which hummer flight shot gets your vote?*

Definitely #3. Looks like warplane getting ready to do a run.

Hide,

I love the first three. It's hard to pick in between those. I would
probably clone out the oof bg in # 1 to make it look more "pro" - -
but # 3 has some real acrobatics....

Best I can do for you Hide......
Thanks for your comments,Lil. :) Before I put a frame on #1, I was actually thinking about the same. #3 is really lucky one since she flew away so fast everytime the flashes were fired, and I really wasn't sure if I got her.

these and all those previous hummer shots you posted look all the same to me.

you shud start to include something else in your frame besides just the bird.

Hi Hide,

Wow - this is really difficult - there are too many
that are great shots. I guess that I would choose
the last because the body/head are totally sharp
and the wings are somewhat blurred for motion -
which I think is nice.

I disagree with a previous poster who thinks
that there should be more in the frame (ok, a flower
or two would be fine.) I like the isolation with
hummers.

Thanks for posting!

...number three is the nicest pose.

Number four has the best background bokeh matching the composition.

But really, they are all fantastic.

Those are exceptional... well done! #1 is an obvious choice for a number of reasons and overall I'd pick it as the best. I also find #3 intriguing... as the bird is apparently trying to change dirsction just as you snapped the shot. Very interesting.
