i havent seen anything NEW YORK-ish in a while here. i love the city and even though i live soo close (phillly) its rare that i have time to go up.

i know i speak for a lot more people when i say i miss seeing the city's character through some wonderful pics !!

i know dez is mostly at the d300 forums, but i dont like it there too much...not as friendly as you guys here, and he was notirious for posting some great NY pics.

so mini challenge to the locals...lets show some NY character guys, you all know who you are (leung, morris, lowell, rich (mr. graceful) etc...

here's an idea...what about your fancy new brooklyn bridge waterfalls ??????
love to see that displayed !!

I'll be heading down the East River tomorrow afternoon/evening. I hope to get some good shots of the falls, but I may have to keep my eye out for the ferries and water taxis. Stay tuned . . .

I am going into the city but to the Bronx Zoo on Friday
I am going there with my bad leg and limp all around the zoo
just so you can see some of New Yorks finest animals. I will think

samples and galleries...i was over there earlier, alot more of what we're used to seeing here. which i guess works out, because the D80-D40 forum is becoming more of a technical questions and suggestions page (kind of what it is intended for) and people who just want to share are posting in the S&G forum.

my only pickle to pick is that people with cannons and fujis and sonys all post there...its hard to tell if that awesome picture that is posted is taken with a nikon or a disposable

would be nice to split that forum up into manufacture samples and galleries

lol to the wii games !!! at least it involves some sort of excercise right ? when im on the xbox360 im static in my chair for hours.

i want to see ny zoo animals, even if you have to army crawl from exhibit to exhibit, cage to cage.

is it the bronx that has the new madagascar exhibit ?

Hey Arthur. LOL, i had to respond to this thread.

The reason why I don't post here as much is because of a certain individual who complained about my posts. He didn't want to see any D300 related photo posts in this forum. I received a complaint & an email from DPR.......and that is the reason why I am not here as much.

So pretty much, I was "chased away" after contributing a couple of years in this forum.

I have popped in, here and there to help a few people out or to respond to the forum's challenges.
