I think there's too much flare. If you would have moved a bit more to your left you would have blocked out a little more sun AND captured the whole hand in the picture. Nice try though.
 
I like the flare. I'm not sure that it's too much at all.

I'm a bit more bothered by the spotlight on his crotch; unless that is what you were trying to do.

I'll second the other comment. Good try, but not quite.
 
i like the flare. really makes me think of california and the beach. if that is what you were going for,then i think it looks great!
