>>>>Sony minichallenge 119

Well ok then: but I will judge them a little easier, since shooting with a non-sony camera is a technical disadvantage...

It are very good shots.

Always great to have people with a sense of humor around!!!!!! I will start posting my Canon EOS D-SLR photos here too, in stead of my Sony DSC-W7 P&S! THanks for the tip! :-)

It is so kind of you
all to accept me in
your ranks as if I
were a human be-
ing too, though I
take my pictures
with a "non-brand"
camera. ;-)

It had not occured
to me before that
I might have incur-
red to punishment
for shooting with
the "wrong" camera
after having taken
part in some of these
mini-challenges be-
fore (and in many,
many stfchallenges
as well).

But I have found all
you Sony forum memb-
ers to be always very kind
and friendly (though you
use the wrong tool for
your photography!)
;-)))

(Just kidding, of course)

Well, I'm not a terrible person. I have some feeling, and I simply love the pictures. Besides, I can understand your choice in camera. Been looking at it myself, but have decided not to go for an SLR.

Greetings (and buy a A350/A700 but keep posting!)

Erwin

:) Well Gerrit, since I'm only hosting this challenge (and don;t expect to win another one soon) it's fine by me.... If you want to fiddle around with camera's that are clearly lower on the evolutionary ladder....

Greetings,
Erwin

Hi Erwin:

I never thought you
were a terrible person;
I had no reason at all
to do so.

I was just joking and
a bit surprised that the
mini-challenge could be
meant to be only for pic-
tures shot with Sony cam-
eras only (as I had partici-
pated before without giv-
ing it any thought). I do
admit, though, that the
idea is not necessarily
far-fetched.

This post is meant ex-
clusively to assure you
that there are, of course,
no hard feelings at all.
On the contrary: I do
feel practically all memb-
ers here are very friendly
people! And I do agree
with you: What counts,
is the photographic re-
sult, not the tool it was
achieved with...

There were no hard feelings at all. I interpreted your message in the right way. I was just joking back at you! Good example of how things can spin out of control on forums....

Greetings and all the best,
Erwin

:-) Thanks!

By the way, talking about the evolutionary ladder ... sooner or later I'll have to substitute my DSC-W7 ( with tears in my eyes ) ... what do you suggest?

My first time posting here. I have an old sony DSC-S75 and I'm doing research to see what to replace it with. I just found the STF and saw this challenge and happened to have taken this picture on Monday evening.

Good picture, shows it is the person behind the cam, not the cam.

Hi Cherie, welcome to the STF and thank you for posting in this minichallenge. If you want there's a maximum of three picture, so you can send two more. I love the colours in the clouds in your picture.

I hope you will enjoy STF as much as I have been doing the past weeks. I'm quite new here too. You will find some very nice people here that know all about Sony camera's and photography in general.

Greetings,
Erwin

I have no idea if the dimensions are correct as entries. Please correct me if I made something wrong.

Kind regards,

traditionally, the mini-challenges were for "any camera, anytime", so no problem with Daniel's entries if you want to follow the original guidelines.
