Some from Paris

Hi Alex.

The second photo is very very nice.

Can i just make a suggestion? I would crop the blurry part on the left of the photo for it distracts a bit from the nice lady on the right.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've considered that but have chosen the current crop, it gives some interaction and the straight line (the window frame) that separates the light and dark areas gives some instability thus slightly animating the photo.

When I presented the image in the Dublin camera club they liked it that way way as well.

Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

I loved the second one. It caught my eye as soon as I saw it pop up and I said "nice" outloud.

While I can understand what the other poster meant by removing the background but I tend disagree.

I think without it, it would it's story or placement. I might not have known which city it was behind that wall, but at least I know this person is around people and open areas and not just locked in a cellar. :)

It makes me think why is she hiding out? What is she thinking.

It's a very thought provoking photos. Great job.

Thanks,

That’s more or less what I wanted to show.

You have wonderful images on your sites. I liked the most the way how you work with light in your b&w gallery.

The only one that's original is the 2nd shot. Keep working with her by all means.
