I would like to know the answer to this question as well. I called a half-dozen stores yesterday and every one of them was sold out. It appears battery grips are as hard to get as the D60 camera itself......

Curtis, don't know where your based, but if your in the UK you can get one from Park Cameras ( http://www.parkcameras.com/ ). I ordered one from them late last Wednesday and it arrived on Friday morning ... and had a thorough testing over the weekend

Might be worth a call. They will often sell less than their advertised price. It used to be $149 on their website until about two weeks ago....I think they are going up everywhere....
I've thought of buying a used D30 just for the grip and then reselling it....May only cost you $75-$100 if you do it that way....but it's a gamble.

I ordered mine with my D60 (shipping today) from Allen's camera in Levitown PA. They have them in stock at 169.
