I got the same message. I will be happy to wait 'til late June for that printer for that price. Lawyers?? If you did not place an order for one too bad but I know Dell will ship mine. I've had delays with them before and they have delivered without talking to any lawyers.

Even with delays, Dell has always shipped everything I've ever ordered ... over 100 PCs, etc. I believe that even if this was a mistake on their part (and their disclaimer says they are NOT liable for typos!) that they will honor every order. I have one on order ... to go with the one that I already have!

Sorry but not in my case. I have taken advantage of 3 pricing errors from Dell in the last year. They HAVE SHIPPED every order and HONORED the price.

I just got an email confirming that there is a delay in shipping the printer. So what? I am not surprised with all of the orders. The last pricing goof from DELL also caused a two week delay, but I got it.

Without a citation this is an invalid response. Dell DOESN'T have to honor price goofs, but in my experience they do.

At any moment ten million web sites are out of date ... including mine! I wouldn't hold it against them.

Did you ever stop and think they they actually had some in stock and have already shipped those out? It seems some people actually have tracking numbers to confirm this.

And with the large rush of orders, they ran out and are going to ship on 6/19 when they get a new block of them in at the price we all ordered them at?

I imagine that the S9000, while it is a great printer, doesn't go through nearly as many orders as it did this weekend because of the word of mouth on this and many other forums during the price of $349.

There is a possibility Dell is still making money on each printer ..... it's not like the price was $34.99 ......

Also got the 5/19 ship date notice today.

Frankly, I think the pricing was an error, but I'm happy to see they're honoring it and a shipping delay is a small inconvenience. Maybe I'll have better candidates for printing large sizes by then.

The Dell Rep told me that isn't necessarily the correct information. I questioned him on that very issue. I asked him if I bought it at $499 would it be in stock, that is when he said the site is not always accurate.

He said they do not have stock at DELL on this type of item that they work through Channels.
And with the large rush of orders, they ran out and are going to
ship on 6/19 when they get a new block of them in at the price we
