Meat is murder!! I am appalled by this barbaric imagery. A lot of vegans shoot Olympus and you are really insensitive. This kind of thing would not be allowed in the USA.

Interesting concept and well taken. I like the first one the best, but thought that the rest took away from the uniqueness of it. I've raised animals and have had to slaughter them when it comes time, so the love shown between the cook and cow is understandable.

I found the whole thing very witty, especially considering the ultra sensitive crowd that would take offense to it. Too many are willing to sit back and enjoy the comforts of life and then raise objection to how that comfort was obtained at the sacrifice of others (animal and man alike).

might have to go and find a nice rib eye or porterhouse steak after these photos! :)))

(Yajitsa on Akemi, I mean) but you might as well.

I agree with your analysis that one can suspect that a lot of the people that cry "Murder" are just doing so because they would prefer being able to keep their eyes closed.
So the images are eyecatchers and maybe also eye-openers.

Good pics and a good joke.

At least the animals has a chance to get away. Just think of those poor carrots. There just sitting ducks.... I mean sitting cucumbers....I mean like shooting fish in a barrel..... Oh my!!

In order for me to live, something must die. Some may want to limit their intake to the poor plants or their embryos. Others may widen their scope to the omnivorious nature of the human species.

Perhaps we should sit down with the polar bears to discuss the killing of the poor seals.

Which kind of thing? A picture depicting cows being chosen for slaughter, or the actual slaughter? Laughable.

I'm appalled at being labled a murderer. The reason the human race survived and exists today, is because we learned to fashon tools for hunting, and kill animals. It was about survival. Also, in nature, there is so much killing (purely for survival purposes) maybe you should just keep your blinders on and head to another planet.

You don't have to eat meat, but you should realize it has a core historical importance.

My, my,my..I did not realise these pics which were taken as a joke would be taken so seriously by some. Actually these pics were taken yesterday whilst visiting my friends on their DAIRY FARM here in Holland. The chef ( a friend of ours)is a chap who was also visiting( He's from Curacao) and he's a chef in a restaurant there.

We were having a BBQ but there was no cows meat on the grill, only lamb chops, chicken drumsticks and pork sausages.

These cows on this farm are milk cows but it is true that every cow eventually becomes too old too be economically viable as their milk production declines. These old cows are not put out to pasture for the rest of their lives..no instead they are taken to the abbatoir and are slaughtered and their meat is available in your local butchery and supermarket neatly packaged in nice plastic trays as hamburger patties and mince meat. Apparently many city people have never seen a cow in real life and cant associate the plastic trays with meat in them to the image of a cow.

Not only that, but the title of the original post was quite clear. There was no need for anyone sensitive to such a subject to even open it.

If the pictures were more like those from the peta website, the people have only themselves to blame.
