Hi everyone. Can you give me some recommendations on where to get high quality enlargements? I am thinking of a service where I can upload files and order online. Want to be good quality but not break the bank.
Thanks in advance.

I second that. I tried going the cheaper route with Snapfish and Walmart. The former made skin look like they had on tons of makeup while Walmart made everyone look like they had a bad case of jaundice. I uploaded a few files to MPIX. When I got them, they were terrific and looked just about like they did on my screen. MPIX costs twice the price over Snapfish and a little more than Walmart. You get what you pay for.

Fast and accurate with excellent color correction if needed. Adorama.com is also very good. Sue

I do it myself. Uniform size 8.5X11 keepers. 13X19 favorites. It is too hard to communicate crop, levelling, perspective, saturation, sharpening, etc. To get all that that I wanted, I can only get it from a very high quality lab, which will break by bank.

Get a good 13X19 printer. Do it yourself, You will not regret.

Lots of options, consistently good quality, fast turn around time. Most normal orders (no complex matting) submitted in the morning are shipped out the next day. Highly recommended.

They are setup for the pro photographer, but have no problems printing for the enthusiast. Minimum $12 orders with free shipping.

Double bonus for Twin Cities folk (like me) as it is one day shipping.

I'll second White House Custom Colour at http://www.whcccom They were recommended to me several years ago by another photog and have been the only lab I have used since. The previous poster forgot to mention that they give you 5 free 8x10's to check out their quality and that their 8x10 prices are cheaper than Wal-Mart 1-hour.
Their quality is excellent and their customer service is outstanding.

I use White House Custom Color. The web site is http://www.whcc.com .

They use the ROES ordering and the like, or you may use ftp. They have been around long time and the prices are reasonable. When you first setup and account they will have you send them 5 8x10 for a test printing. This is done free of charge. IMHO they are best lab in the country!.
