Canon rebates

where did you get this rebate? I havent seen it online yet.

Yes, I bought my 40D today, and the $200 was a rebate on the body
alone. I also got the 17-55 F2.8 lens, and got an additional $70
rebate on that.

Where did you buy a body today. Here in the US its still the 17th and rebate starts on the 18th.
I havent found anyone with it showing yet......?

On the US the rebates are instant at the cash register . . .

Even though they officially start on Sunday, May 18, we started them on Saturday.

It is available on both the body only and kits of the 40D and the 5D.

This partially offsets the recent price increases, which means the bottom line price on lens is still not as good as in the past, but the 5D price is the lowest ever. That is a really good price on the 5D.
