Yeah, I surely wasn't expecting to come in second against such good photos, I was hoping more like a stand in top 10, nothing more..

What Gerald says makes sense only I cant wait to hear the new topic :D.

And our time frame for shooting pics gets reduced with this delay.

sound good Debi - I mean not roughing but Australia - when are you flying ?
I'm going to go to Australia first in Aug/Sept then end of Nov/Dec.

Keep me informed about your plans - if you don't know Singapore I will be glad to show it to you.

The norm is to usually wait out 24hours before passing on the torch to the 2nd place finisher in eligible.

I searched for Johannes , no record. But found Hans, which I reckon might be the same? I will kindly email the person. Will also setup a template for C159 so we can get started as soon as the challenge is announced, by Johannes or Cat. And no wise cracks posting TBA photos ;)
 
cause we are on very different time zones. I have no idea or Johannes is loated.

24 hours seems to be the norm to wait....so Cat, please feel free to go ahead and start a new topic after the 24 hour is up if we haven't heard from Johannes.

I say wait the whole 24 hours... But, I'm game for whatever anyone comes up with.

Cat is waiting in the wings just in case, but hoping for Johannes to claim his victory. (He emailed me since he cannot access pBase or dPreview from work.)

One less day of shooting certainly won't kill me.

(I might be slightly maimed, though. grin )

I think we should be patient and wait. Who knows why Johannes has not contacted ? Stressy day in office ? A lot of work ? Some personal issues ? I don't think it is a big tragedy to wait at least 24 hours. Let us use this time to clean up our lenses, to calibrate our monitors and to delete hundreds of "blue-yellow" files form our hard drive making space for the new "who-knows-what?" ...

I'll have a nervous breakdown if I see more pics from NY. We have plenty of that at the CTF already.
