Switzerland, continued, Views, Boat and Trains!

We have now left the museum so on with the journey!
Brienz Lake. Taken from the bus on the way back from Ballenberg.

Taken on Lake Brienz from the boat

This is the train we were on the day before, taken from the boat.

Taken from the train, after we got off the boat.

Now the highlight of the trip, The Glacier Express, 1st class with lunch!!
Taken from the Glacier Express, through glass, not very clever.

Big climb on the train, notice the station at the bottom right where we had been only five minutes earlier!!

I love the mountains and the water. Here you have it all! Top it off with beautiful clouds, quaint little villiages, mighty trains and boats and you have the recipe for a wondrous vacation, and magnificent photo op. You did it all justice with these breathtaking images, and how lucky we are to be able to enjoy the holiday through your lovely images!

That first shot is lovely. Nice setting. It's May and looks like you can still ski in some of those higher altitudes. You must have had a wonderful time on this trip. Thanks for sharing the moments.

Heather, I've been following your threads and just thought I'd let you know that I'm really enjoying the tour. It's great to see places from around the world. I love the little churchyard and the boat is nice too.
