I'ts not like its a new problem ...

Wow, that is amazing. Do you think that was in the original or did they add it later ;)

There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself,
for what we see is what we are.

Nice vignetting, btw.

Nice colors (I like the purple branches best), just the sky seems to be a little bit blown out. A-grade PF conditions, imo.
Anyway, glad to see that Fuji made a step forward. ;-)

Your eyes are the best cam.

well the pic is good looking :)
how you can use the camera's flaws in good ways :)

Make that yikes and a half. Thanks for the link but I don't think I want to see that any bigger.

Seriously, though, that's kind of the point. This problem has been around for a while and they don't seem to be having much luck addressing it. That picture is the sort of scene a lot of people would shoot - not some obscure conditions test that would almost never happen in real life. Unless one is willing to spend a lot of time and money acquiring, learning and performing advanced post-processing programs, shots like that are unusable. One of the things that makes the Panasonic cameras attractive to me is that their processor corrects purple fringe well in jpeg, (and some offer Raw for those who prefer to do their own corrections ). So it can be done.
