Who likes the light in this picture ? It was caused by light falling from the backside between the two white houses that were build very close together and the light bounces and receive the reflection from the opposite wall so that it even brightens more. I didn't process this image apart from darkening the sky a bit.

In the second image you can see what is behind these houses (I made a lot more of St.-Amands aan de Schelde(Belgium) yesterday). Hope you enjoy them.

Dirk,

The light in both the shots is very interesting...that is just such a special part of the day to begin with. The second scene is beautifully composed and the occupants of the houses are very lucky indeed to have such natural beauty right behind them.

Best regards,

Robert

Hi dirk:

Brilliant the two shots. I'm traveling without dictionary and connected dial up. So quickly.

But I was impresed with two photos. The second... It´s too much man. One of the best. Very inspired to me.

With sincere respects.

Dirk,

The light is wonderful in both of these, and I love them. What a great view these two homes have! The composition in the second is just super: the boat and its wake add a lot to an already very nice shot. Beautiful reflections, too. Thank you, Dirk!

Hi Dirk,

two beautiful shots and the light is great!

Maybe you compressed the pics a bit to much, there are large artefacts visible :-( .... or is it my monitor here in the office?

Hi Dirk,

Wonderful light and a senusal curve in the water. What more could anyone ask for? These two are very impressive images that get my attention as much as your creatively staged photos. Both nicely seen and captured.

Hallo Dirk

Great way to capture a late-light-reflection, besides that great colour and the composition. The second has got a great late light mood with the boat making the right curve in the right place.

I can,t wait to see your upcoming after-midnght pics :)

I like them both Dirk, the soft light and detail and view in the first, and the lovely lowlight scene in the 2nd, excellent. DL

Hi Martin,

Thanks very much and your English is becoming better and better surely now that you have answered without a dictionary. I'm glad I stay longer at that place as the sunset was not famous but with waiting I could make this shot.

Thanks

Klaus
Hi Claus,

Thanks very much, I'm always searching for interesting light and that day I could find some. I don't know about the artefacts, I can't see them on my screen but it's not impossible that I downsampled them to much.

With very kind regards,
Dirk Vermeirre
